Welcome to the official website of the Henrico County Alumnae Chapter (HCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. It is with extreme enthusiasm that I greet you on behalf of the sensational women of HCAC. I am honored and privileged to serve as the Chapter President of Henrico County Alumnae for 2024 -2026. Thank you for taking the time to become better acquainted with our chapter and the important service we provide to our community.
Chartered on March 26, 2000, HCAC remains dedicated to Delta’s traditions of Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service, and strives toward making a positive difference in the lives of Henrico County, Charles City and New Kent County residents through volunteerism, advocacy, public service, and social action. We proudly celebrate over 23 years of providing dedicated public service with signature projects and programs such as Delta Academy and Delta GEMS Youth Initiatives, YMCA Bright Beginnings, Voter Education and Registration, and our Annual Community Health Fair in partnership with The Saint Paul’s Baptist Church Caring Heart Ministry.
HCAC develops and implements programming that puts the following National Five-Point Programmatic Thrust into action:
- Economic Development
- Educational Development
- International Awareness and Involvement
- Physical and Mental Awareness
- Political Awareness and Involvement
Our community fundraisers are created to benefit scholarships and educational initiatives. Annually, we award scholarships to high school seniors in Henrico County, Charles City and New Kent County.
We are committed to Unleashing the Power of Sisterhood and Public Service. Our goal is to positively impact our community in ways that allow us to bring “Joy in our Sisterhood, Power in our Voices, and Service in our Heart”.
